Agnes Conner Miller

She was born July 9, 1917 in Todd, NC, a daughter of the late Claude M. and Ruth Graham Conner. She married Milton C. Miller.

She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Milton Keith Miller, three brothers, and four sisters.

Surviving are two grandsons, Cameron Miller and Russell Miller both of Lewisville; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Miller of Lewisville; one sister, Billie (Troy) Ridings of Lewisville; one brother, Clyde (Dora) Conner of Garner; and several nieces and nephews.

Agnes worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and in the Cafeteria for Forsyth County School District for several years until becoming a homemaker.

She enjoyed working in her yard. Agnes has a zest for life, quick wit, and loved everyone, but most of all she loved her Lord Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:30 until the time of the service at the chapel. Entombment will be in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends Baptist Church in Clemmons where she was a member or Harmony Grove United Methodist Church in Lewisville or Hospice and Palliative Care in Winston-Salem.
