Alice Jewell Gimbert

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Fouts Gimbert.

She is survived by her husband, Nelson Cole Gimbert; two sons, Hunter Gimbert of Pfafftown, and Peyton Gimbert and his wife, Kirsten, of Charlotte; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Alice was a graduate of Marion College, VA, after which she worked as a Cytologist for UVA Hospital. She had a fondness for antiques, colonial architecture and was an avid UVA fan, “Go Hoos”.

The family thanks the wonderful caregivers and nurses at Cadence at Clemmons, and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for all their help and kindness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1:00PM at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012. Gathering of Family and Friends will follow the service in the Chapel.
