Ardna "Joann" Joan Patrick Parker

Jonesboro, GA- Mrs. Ardna Joan “Joann” Patrick Parker, 93, formerly of Winston-Salem, died April 28, 2012. Graveside services will be at Forsyth Memorial Park, on Wednesday, May 2, at 2 PM with Pastor Robert Hutchens officiating.

Mrs. Parker was born in Grayson County NC to the late Roy and Virginia Southard Patrick. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Clarence “Buddy” (Burnese) Parker, Jr. of Lewisville; daughter, Cheryl (Jack) Souza of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Kim White, Darin Parker, Jeff Parker and Britt Parker; eleven great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and sister, Virgie Farmer of Mocksville; . She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Parker, Sr., whom she married in 1938; grandson, Gregory Franklin; and several sisters and brothers.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at Frank Vogler & Sons, Reynolda Road Chapel. Floral tributes are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church, 1206 Pleasant View Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
