Betty Caudle Griffith

Betty Caudle Griffith, 81, of Clemmons passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Trinity Elms. She was born April 5, 1935 in Surry County to William Arthur and Delia Willard Caudle. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Griffith; 3 sisters, Clara Caudle, Dorothy Wall, and Mary Norman; 5 brothers, Kip Caudle, Ervin Caudle, David Caudle, Fred Caudle, and Orville Caudle. Surviving are 3 children, Barry Griffith (Kay), Catherine Blevins (Tony) and James Scott Griffith (Viki); 13 grandchildren, Samuel Griffith (Tricia), Thomas Griffith, Hannah Thrower (Brandon), Martha Griffith, Barry Mark Griffith,Jr., Michael Griffith, David Griffith, Carly Blevins (Richard), Christy Blevins, Carolyn Griffith, Alex Griffith, Matthew Griffith and John Griffith; also a special niece, Debbie Darnell. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at Betty's home, 7009 Lanvale Court in Clemmons.
