
She was born in Jacksonville, Ohio on November 1, 1942 to the late Thomas and Margaret Anderson. Connie was an avid reader. She was a lifelong member of the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild of North Carolina. Connie worked in all medias of art, including ceramics, painting, and basket weaving. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family dearly.
She leaves behind by her husband of 59 years, Franklin D. Hughes, Sr.; children, Franklin (Lisa) Hughes, Jr., James (Tina) Hughes, John (Jennifer) Hughes, and Angie (Mike) Stoltz; grandchildren, Jaime, Zachary, Garrett, Bradley, Katelyn, Jaylynn, Brittany, and Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Katie, Ethan, and Christopher.
