

Cyclone was born May 21, 1922, in Guthrie, OK, a son to the late Cyclone Covey and Lola Best Covey. He married Bonnie Mae Bagby Hansen, June 12, 1949. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie Covey; five children, Christopher Cyclone Covey and wife, Janet, Mark Nicholas Covey and wife, Cecilia, Julie Kristiana Miller, Jonathan Baldridge Covey, and Timothy Nathaniel Covey; three grandsons and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 1 in Wake Chapel at Wake Forest University with Pastor Susan Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, Reynolda Chapel Sunday, prior to the service.
