

Born on Jan. 20, 1952, in Norwalk, Conn., to William Sr. and Nancy Sylvia, Debbie was described as a loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother. She loved baking and crafting with her granddaughter and helping her grandson stay out of trouble when getting into mischievous antics with their “Papa”, Debbie’s husband of nearly 42 years, Michael Silveri.
Deb had a knack for making memories that will last those left behind to mourn her a lifetime.
Debbie is survived by Michael and two sons, Rob (Jen) Nash and Shayne (Jana) Hilbert, two grandchildren, Zach Grube, Skylar Hilbert. Shayne and Jana’s pending nuptials also adds Shayne’s Step Daughter, Emma Cottrell.
In addition, four siblings: William “Bill” Jr., Martyn “Marty,” Michael “Mike” and Jeanie Sylvia. Additionally, she is survived by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by both of her parents and her younger brother, Charles “Charlie” Sylvia.
She was known and loved as “Mema” to Skylar’s little brother, Cooper along with so many other children she welcomed in like family over her 72 years of life.
A private viewing for immediate family is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2023, followed by a public visitation open to all who want to honor Debbie from 2-4 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home at 2849 Middlebrook Dr. in Clemmons, N.C.
