Dennis was born on September 27, 1963, in Port Jefferson, New York to James and Genevieve Knoetgen. Although Dennis faced many personal challenges and struggles throughout his life, he never lacked a sense of humor or charisma. He had the ability to walk into a room and command attention. His larger-than-life personality will be missed by those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his younger sister, Christine Santiago. He leaves behind his two daughters, Nicole Graziano and Danielle Schroeder; his six grandchildren; and six siblings, Michelle Taylor, James Knoetgen, Margaret Burdette, Aileen Reve, Timothy Knoetgen and Kenneth Knoetgen; along with many nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, he will be cremated, and no memorial service will be held.
