Dixie Corcoran Hill

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Dixie Corcoran Hill, 74, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 21, at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with Reverends Steve Pegram and Johnson Gupton officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hill was born in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Phillip and Geraldine Doup Corcoran. She graduated in 1955 from Mineral Springs High School and has been a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church since childhood. She was employed as an administrator with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and retired after more than twenty years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Hill; son, Philip Daniel Hill; grandchildren, Amber, Travis and Chad Hill and their mother, Tammy Hill; sister-in-law, Ruth (Bobby) Tuttle and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Forest Hill Baptist Church, 402 E. Polo Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. On line condolences may be made to www.frankvoglerandsons.com
