Donald L Buzzard, 80 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Tuesday December 25, 2018 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Buzzard was born August 18th 1938 in Pennsylvania to the late Octavia Askey Buzzard and Arthur Frank Buzzard. He was married to Carol Buzzard and later to Theresa Buzzard. Mr. Buzzard served in the US Navy aboard the USS Forrestal & retired from General Motors. He lived most of his life in western New York before retiring to North Carolina. Survivors include his wife Theresa Buzzard of 16 years; Children - Roy (Ilona) Buzzard, Cheryl (Steve) Spinetti, Donita (Jack) Moore, Cynthia (Randy) Wooten, and Mark (Lisa) Buzzard; Stepchildren – Lori(Butch) Adamson, Kelly (Todd) Gathers, Jeff Himes, Darlene Bell, Chris (Kerry) Himes; 40 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and siblings Barbara Greis, Ruth McHenry, James Buzzard. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Carol, son Donald Jr., and brothers Frank and Carl. A funeral Mass will be held 11AM Saturday, December 29 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Clemmons with interment following at Westlawn Gardens Of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Kate B Reynolds Hospice.
