Gracie Marie Norman Shell

Grace was born in Dobson, NC on April 13, 1930. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church for over 40 years. She loved playing bingo, participating in home league and many other activities with her church family. Gracie’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with her children and family as a stay at home mom.

Gracie is preceded in death by her husband, John Shell, Jr.; her mother, Mittie Norman; her sister, Ina Livingston; and her brother, Landon Marsh. She is survived by her seven children, Joan Hoilman (Danny), Gregory Shell, Gail Shell, Michael Shell, Jeff Shell, Marcelle Pegrem (Kenny) Zane Shell (Cathy); five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and sister, Arlene Marsh.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. A graveside service will be Saturday at 11am at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
