Howard Gray Petree

Howard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a quiet, resilient man of many talents, especially in woodworking and furniture restoration.

Howard is proceeded in death by his parents; brother John; sister Earline Petree; wife of 63 years, Elsie Tew Petree; and daughter Patricia Posey.

Surviving Howard is his son, Gray (Betty) Petree; grandchildren Zach Petree, Lynsey Moore, Thomas Gray Posey and Ashley Martinez.

A funeral service for Howard will be held on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 at 1pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel, Rev. Linda Brown officiating. Visitation will occur one hour prior to funeral services. Burial will follow services at Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery.
