Irmma Ruth Torrez-Linker

Irmma was born to John and Concepcion Torrez on March 21, 1952 in Montclair, California. In addition to her parents, Irmma was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Torrez.

She loved gardening. Irmma spent all the time she could planting vegetables and tending to her flowers. She was also an amazing cook. Irmma prepared meals daily for her family. Family was most important to her. She loved helping raise all her nieces and nephews then great nieces and nephews.

Irmma was a kind and loving women. She planted love in her plants and flowers as well as in the children in her family. She loved to watch them all grown. Her contagious laugh and thoughtfulness will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her siblings, Mary (Mike) Hughes, David Torrez, and Jesus Torrez; special niece and nephews, David (Jennifer) Torrez, John (Jaime) Torrez, and Ana (Tyler) Bare; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 16th from 5-7pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons.
