James Harold Gibson passed away on December 25, 2020 at Salemtowne Retirement Community after a long illness. He was born October 8, 1941 in Pitts burgh, PA to Francis Gibson and Estella Magill. He joined the Navy after graduating from Sterling College in Kansas. He was a Lieutenant stationed in Iceland, the Hawaii. His career path lead to computer science. Jim enjoyed football, a good sci-fi novel and anything chocolate. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. He's survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley, sons, John and Steve, siblings, Bill and Ellen, granddaughter, Sarah, niecesand nephews.
