Jim was born in Detroit on July 14, 1958 to the late Andrew Yestrepsky and Margaret Pribulsky Yestrepsky. He worked as a data analyst for Hanes Brand for over 40 years, but Jim’s real passion was art. He was beyond talented with painting, glasswork, and mosaics. Jim had a deep love for music and dancing, especially disco.
He was always the life of the party. Jim was outgoing and hilarious, yet generous and thoughtful. He made sure each of his family members and friends knew they were appreciated with considerate cards and gifts on special occasions.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved husband, Bobby White, in 2019. He is survived by his brothers Dan (Diane) Yestrepsky and family and Paul (Heather) Yestrepsky and family, and stepson, Bobby (Lyndsey) White, Jr. and family.
The family request that you do a kind act or give someone a hug in Jim's honor.
Jim will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Jim's life in the spring.
