Mrs. Janice Walls McBride, 62, died suddenly Thursday, November 14, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Janice was born in Welch, WV, on December 16, 1951, a daughter of the late Herbert Walls and the late Grace Short Walls. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McBride, and a brother, Herbert “Jimmy” Gene Walls.

Janice was of the belief of The Church of God. She had a big heart and loved everyone. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by five sisters, Gladys Holder and husband, Ricky of East Bend, NC, Alma Yates and husband, Dwayne, of King, NC, Ellen Mullins of Richmond, VA, Cecelia Rose and husband Kenny of Tazewell, VA, and Brenda Walls of Tazewell, VA; two brothers, Thomas “Butch” Walls and wife, Reta of Vale, NC and Crandall Walls of Tazewell, VA; great nephew, Peyton Allen and great niece, Halle Allen and her beloved pet, Daisy Mae.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18th at Union United Methodist Church, Lewisville, NC with Rev. Casey Rose officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, November 17th from 6 until 8 pm at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, Clemmons Chapel.
