Kay F. Hunter

Kay will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was born February 23, 1946 in Forsyth County, a daughter of Francis Cicero and Margaret Evelyn March Foltz.

Surviving are one daughter, Deborah (Charles Spaugh) Hunter of Kernersville; one son, Brian (Elizabeth) Hunter of Westfield; four grandchildren, McKenzie, Alexandra, Zachary, Brittany; and her dog, Mitzi.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Kay served with dedication and compassion as a nurse in the Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for over 30 years. That compassion was returned as she was surrounded in death by the love and comfort of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Davis Memorial Chapel at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
