Kenneth Charles Harriss, 16, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Saturday, March 22, 2014.
He was born December 15, 1997 in Winston-Salem to his mother, Ann Hawk-Harriss. “Kenny brought joy to his family and others. He never was unkind nor self-serving. Few people can say that about themselves now, Kenny will give the greatest gift-LIFE as a donor”.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Ann E. Hawk-Harriss and father, Shane B. Smith; sister, Amanda Harris; grandparents Ruth Nan Hawk, Janice and Johnny Smith; great aunt, Thelma and uncle Ray White; uncle, Mike and aunt, Claudia Hawk, uncle David and aunt, Hope Thompson, uncle Johnny Smith, Jr.; cousins, Tristan and Misty Thompson, Stephanie Lane, , Katalina Hawk and Godfather Bernard Hanton; he was preceded in death by grandfather, Kenneth Charles Hawk and great grandfather, Glenn H. Oberman.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 29th from 6 until 9 pm, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Guy Hipp and Truitt Williams officiating.
