Kyle, it's been four months since you took the quantum leap.  You left a huge hole in my heart that will only be filled when I'm able to be with you again.  I shed tears daily, because I miss you so.  I rejoice daily because you had such an impact on so many lives while you were here.  You knew how to be a friend to those who needed a friend, and that is truly a gift of love.  Everyday I walk by your Mustang and carry your pocket knife in my pocket, just to keep you fresh in my mind.  I hear your voice greeting me, saying "Hey, Pop, I'm okay.  Please don't be sad for me."  Son, I'll try not to be sad, but it's a very hard thing to do.

Good night, Bub.  I love you.

Words simply cannot express my sorrow since my brothers passing. I often find myself googling his name, opening drop box, listening to a recording of his voice and crying until I cannot breathe any more. I have never lost anyone so dear to my heart. He was my brother but he was so much more than that as well. So often he was sticking up for me in school. So often he was setting examples for me. So often he was giving me something to work towards. He was a great man and he is sorely missed. He may not be here any longer to show me how to live but I will remember what he did show me. He will never stop being my hero. He will never be forgotten. And he will always be loved.

Kyle was a champion.  He had a big heart, and whenever I was in his company, he brightened my day.  

Regardless of how many homework assignments I had due, or how terribly I did on an exam- I knew I could call Kyle, watch a stream, or play a video game with him, and the rest didn't matter.  

I'm a hard person to be around, and most of the time my friends aren't of my choosing.  But Kyle was one of the few people in my life I can honestly say was someone I resonated with.  I don't know if he felt the same, but I always tried to return the favor and bring him the same happiness he brought me in being a friend.  A large portion of my fond college memories involve Kyle.  I went to FTCC with him, and transferred to UNCC's engineering program with him.  

I'm sorry, Kyle.

I was very saddened by the news of Kyle's passing away. Please accept my deepest condolences at this extremely difficult time you and the family are facing. 

I had met Kyle a couple of times in the past with George and knew that he was a nice young man. 

His military services to our nation will not be forgotten.

May his soul rest in peace! You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Kyle was a man of memorable character. I know no game was complete at any front without him; whether it was with dice, controllers, keyboards, or lacrosse sticks. Through the years I could never look back at my times when Kyle was around me that I didn't have a smile or a giggle in my head. Laughs were always around, fun was always a guarantee, and I will always be shocked how we still crossed paths still as the years went on. You will be missed greatly Kyle.

We are so sorry to hear about Kyle.  Words seem inadequate at a time like this. I will always remember working with George when Kyle was a youngster and laughing at the 'Kyle stories' he would tell us.  We will pray for your family.

Dear Mr.and Mrs. Stewart,

I have no words to express my sympathy to you or to offer comfort to you in the loss of your son Kyle.  I can only assure that God is sovereign and continues to rule.
