Lester Eugene Scales

He was born on August 21, 1929 in Forsyth County to the late Kenneth and Verlie Scales. Lester proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was a dedicated member of Pine Chapel Moravian Church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce; daughter, Cathy Durham; son-in-law, Jeff Underdal; and siblings, Ken Scales, Bob Scales, and Mary Wishon. Lester leaves behind his daughter, Cindy Underdal; grandchildren, Randy (Teresa) Cook, Amy (Joe) Benton, and Thomas Underdal; great-grandson, Carter Cook; siblings, Bill (Betty) Scales and Peggy (Clyde) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A graveside service will be Saturday, November 25th at 2pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens followed by a memorial service at 3pm at Pine Chapel Moravian Church, 324 Goldfloss St. Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
