Lester Wayne Sell

He was born May 20, 1936, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Irvin and Mildred Sell, both parents were from Walkertown, NC.

He enjoyed fishing, RV camping, raising cattle, and being retired. He worked for Forsyth County School System, retiring in 1992, after working as a Computer Programmer Analyst. He joined the US Army National Guard in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Sell, and his granddaughter, Amanda Doub.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy Sell; children, Randy Sell (wife Kim), Sandra Swaim (husband Tim), Mark Sell (wife Kim), and Lisa Sell (husband Rafa); 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 21st at 3:00PM at Clemmons Moravian Church, 3535 Spangenberg Avenue, Clemmons, NC, with Pastor Chris Thore officiating. Final placement will be in Clemmons Moravian God’s Acre immediately following. A reception for family and friends will be in the Parlor after the service.

Donations may be given in honor of Lester's granddaughter Amanda Doub who died of

Breast Cancer just 10 days before him. Any donations will go to benefit her 3 small sons

(Lester's great-grandchildren) Baron 10, Reid 8, and Easton 5.
