Lisa C. Angel

After a courageous battle with ALS, Lisa Angel went to be with her Lord and Savoir Thursday, August 24, 2023. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Forest Angel, and her mother, Romaine Sheek Angel, as well as her precious dog, Tiki-Lu. Surviving Lisa are her husband, Kenneth Powell of Providence, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Lori Angel of Dallas, TX; niece, Logan Angel of Dallas, TX; nephew, Mason Angel of Denver, CO; and Kenneth's family: children, Jessica (Justin) Myrick, Jordan Powell, and Kayleigh Morgan, and four grandchildren all of Danville, VA.

If you were a friend of Lisa's, you were a friend for life and you knew you could always count on her. When it came to remembering birthdays, special occasions, and holidays her thoughtfulness was unsurpassed. We always marveled at the care packages we received from Lisa when we lived too far away to come home for Christmas.

Lisa loved the farm and living in the country and thanks to the dedicated and loving care of her husband, Kenny, she was able to die peacefully in her own home. Lisa is now free of pain. She has left her earthly home for her heavenly home - reunited with her parents and safe in the arms of Jesus.

Lisa leaves a void in the lives of those she touched. We can never fill that void, but we can always cherish our memories of her.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 27th at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons, NC. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm with service starting at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Crews United Methodist Church, 4150 Reidsville Road, Winston- Salem, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Association.
