Mary Louise Harrell Russell

Mrs. Russell was born on September 12th in Forsyth County to Joye & Lydia Stanley Harrell. She retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and also worked at Lankford Protective Services at the Walkertown Public Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph Russell Sr. and her son William Todd (BB) Russell; three sisters, Goldie O’Neal, Betty Stalzer and Joyce “Bootsie” Torres (Candy); a brother Billy Richard Harrell.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph “Butch” (Mary) Russell, Charles “Chuck” (Kristin) Russell, and Calvin Russell; one daughter Mary “Chon” Russell-Gonzalez (Gerardo Gonzalez) ; daughter-in-law, Laurie; nine grandchildren; Early, Jacey (Brett), Amber, John (Joni), Chris, Emilio, Alejandro, Andrew, and Christian and four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Murdoch, Leyton & Augustus; brother, Robert Lee Harrell; and many other loved ones and friends.

A funeral service is planned for 7PM, Tuesday, June 6th at Frank Vogler & Sons Chapel, 2951 Reynolda Road. The family will receive friends at 6 PM prior to the service for a visitation.
