Michelle Corbitt

Michelle worked with the United States Postal Service for over 23 years. She was a vice president of the union and loved being able to interact with people at her job. Michelle loved going to the beach to walk at sunrise to find the best seashells to collect. She was an avid book reader with a large collection of books from multiple genres. Michelle loved playing Bunco with her friends, even when she didn’t win. She cared about everyone, even people she did not know and would help anyone in any way that she could. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, drinking a Cola Beer, watching birds and her garden. She loved her family more than anything.

Michelle is predeceased by her mother, Gerda Seidel, and her father, Lawrence “Larry” McGrath. She is survived by her loving husband, William Corbitt, two daughters, Sarah and Charlotte “Charlie” Corbitt, four sisters, Monica McGrath, Anne-Marie Degener, Sylvia Snyder, and Jodi Pope. Michelle is also survived by her granddogs Eliza, Dallas, Apollo, and Enzo. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for their continued support during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

The service will be held on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Frank Vogler & Sons in Clemmons, NC. The address is 2849 Middlebrook Dr. Clemmons, NC 27012.
