Mr. Olin Wright Story, 64, died suddenly, Monday, April 29, 2013, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Stokes.
Olin was born November 10, 1948, in Forsyth County to the late Rita Kurdian Butler. Big O worked for DOT of NC as a bridge inspector and retired after 32 years of service. He then became employed with Kissinger Campo and was still currently employed with after 14 years of service there. On August 21, 1993 he married the love of his life the former Toni Bost. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and loved spending time with each and every one of them. He was a working man and enjoyed doing what he did best. Olin was also a very humble, generous and kind man. He helped many people through his generosity throughout his life. Olin enjoyed making people laugh with his witty personality. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Toni Story of the home; one son, Charles Michael Story of Greensboro; one daughter, Angela Story Dawson of Mt. Airy; four step children, Derek Hall of King, Jason Hall and his fiancé, Gina of Winston Salem, Scott Hall and his wife, Jodie of Walkertown and Jeffery Hall of King; one sister, Yvonne Story and her fiancé, Joey of Pfafftown; and nine grandchildren, Zack, Kayla, Madison, Justin, Miranda, Taylor, Evan, Mollie and Eli.
A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Friday, May 3rd at Frank Vogler and Sons Chapel Reynolda Rd., with Pastor Mike Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 2nd from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
