Patricia Curtin Taber

.Clemmons- Mrs. Patricia Curtin Taber, 85, died on December 29, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

Mrs. Taber was born in Auburn, NY to the late Patrick and Hazel Little Curtin. She married Harrison Taber in 1946 and spent 57 wonderful years together until his death in 2003. Mrs. Taber has been a member of Holy Family Catholic Church since 1993 where she was active in the Seniors Group and was head of the Prayer Line. She enjoyed many activities such as playing bridge at the Shepherd’s Center, reading, feeding the wild animals, tending her houseplants and especially baking cookies.

Mrs. Taber is survived by her children, Patty Kruth of Clemmons and Michael (Ginny) Taber of Arrarat; grandchildren, Joanna Adkins of Mooresville, Michael Kruth of Clemmons, Andrew Kruth of New Orleans, LA, Apphia Khuri of Virginia Beach, VA and Christian Taber of Philadelphia, PA; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special companion, Fred Valentine. In addition to her parents and spouse she is preceded in death by three siblings.
