Peter Brent Currie

Peter Brent “Coach” Currie, 81 of Clemmons passed away Sunday May 13 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Currie was born in Littleton, NH to the late Wilsie & Julia Currie. He Graduated in 1958 from The University of Maine and was employed for 34 years as a Civil Engineer with the FAA and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Michael J Currie. He is survived by his wife Jackie Currie, son; Daniel E Currie(Terri), daughters; Sherrie Beshears (Mike Bolt) & Melinda Pennington(John), grandchildren; Crystal Jagels, E. Brent Dunbar, Carrie Baskin, Daniel S. Currie(Tekla), Samuel Chad Currie, John Taylor Pennington, Matthew Pennington, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister; Julia Currie Sargeson. A private service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park . Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home of Clemmons is assisting the Currie family
