Becky raised 6 children, several German Shepherds and two Siamese cats. She worked at Charlie’s Radio Wachovia, and Nitsa’s Apparel. After retirement she lovingly cared for her mother Ruth Hunter.
Pink was her signature color, she loved classic movies-but only ones with happy endings, and she made the best cheesecake brownies and chocolate pie you’ve ever had. Her house was surrounded by beautiful flower beds and if it was warm out you could find her sitting in the shade of her garage reading a good book and sipping her coffee through a straw.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruth Hunter, her son Bill Etheridge, and her daughter Rebecca Etheridge.
Becky is survived by her children Robin Jennings (Monty), Charles Etheridge (Kristi), Lynn McLain (Clyde), and Joseph Etheridge (Myra), and her grandchildren Kristine Ali (Haval), Christopher Etheridge (Amy), Bryson Jennings (Sarah), Arron Jennings (Chelsea), Jennifer McLain, Dana Moore (Brian), Justin Shew (Heather), Mark Etheridge (Katherine), Kristen Frost (Michael), and her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Etheridge, Shannon and Samantha Dickerson, Dharma Jennings, Lillian, Naomi, and Benjamin Jennings, Caroline and Noah Moore, Caleb and Mackenzie Shew, Tyler Etheridge and Luke Frost.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Kate B. Reynolds house Hospice House, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem NC 27103.
