Robert Tirado

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for over 30 years for the NYC Transit Authority retiring as a superintendent. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed antiquing with his late wife, Laura Esther Tirado, and enjoyed collecting antique coffee cans and sports memorabilia. Robert loved sports, especially baseball and could be found pulling for the LA Dodgers, New England Patriots, and the NY Rangers.

Robert leaves behind his children, Lori Tirado (Glenn Clairmont) and Robert “Bobby” Tirado, Jr. (Lori); grandchildren, Zachary Macchio and Londyn Tirado; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 15th at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church with an inurnment to follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or The National Kidney Foundation.
