

Rosemary Grubbs White, 65, of Winston-Salem passed away April 10, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill Grubbs and Martha Clayton Grubbs. Her immediate survivors are her husband Fred; daughter Julie Belnap and husband Stuart of Walkertown; granddaughter Ashley Belnap; sister Cheryl Hayes and husband Michael of Pinnacle; and nieces and nephews. She graduated from Mineral Springs High School and Appalachian State University. She taught school in Waverly, Virginia and was a writer for the City of Winston-Salem, Integon Insurance Company of Winston-Salem, and McLean Trucking Company of Winston-Salem. She enjoyed the beach, travelling, reading and writing. She will be missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with Rev. R. Sidney Lanier officiating. Interment will follow at the Clayton Family Cemetery in Stanleyville. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Winston-Salem, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Kate B.
