

Clemmons- Mr. Roy Brady Granger, 80, passed away September 14, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Funeral services for Mr. Granger will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel with interment to follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
Mr. Granger was born in Forsyth County to Charles Brown and Eulila McCullough Granger. He moved back to North Carolina in 2001 after forty years living in Florida. He retired from the Brevard County Florida School System and also owned and operated several service stations. Mr. Granger was an eccentric man who loved working in his yard and feeding the wildlife especially deer.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children and their spouses, Donna and Paul Whetstone of Clemmons and Gary and Melinda Granger of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Miranda Whetstone, Landon Whetstone, Cory Granger and Nicole Granger; and his former wife and mother of his children, Ruth Creson Granger. He is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel is serving the family.
