Tom, you are so missed.  The world just isn't the same without you.  With love.


Thinking of you and your family at this time. A special patient in our ophthalmology office. I always liked to laugh and joke around with him. He will be missed.

Pat, Lisa, and Tommy: I am so sorry for your loss. Tom and I became IT Managers together at Allegheny Airlines in 1969.  We worked very closely together until his retirement in 1994.  We lived at Dale City, VA, car-pooled together for 9 years to our Computer Center in Fairfax, VA, golfed on many leagues and tournaments (most that he actually organized), went to many horse-races together, and many company social events.
Tom had more years with the company and therefore, taught me so much about the airline business.  I always admired his commitment and involvement in the Catholic Church, Holy Family, Dale City, VA.  
Tom was always very positive, extremely knowledgable, and always fun loving.
I will cherish those memories.  My condolence for such a loss to your family.

Pat, I worked with Tom at Usair in Winston.  He was a great guy even during some really difficult times.  I still remember the golf outings that he organized.  I'll never forget the fellowship with him.

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Tom as everyone else. I only knew him at Holy Family and spoke with him like 3 or four times. But I've learned from Tom with such short time was his humbleness and need to help others. He has pushed me to get where I am today. The Mejias Family is with you Pat in prayer. God Bless.

Pat, I am Ken and Ruthie Purnell's son.  I had the priviledge of working for Tom when I began my career with US Air back in 1987.  He was so supportive of me and treated me very well.  I told my Dad about Tom's passing and he wanted me to convey his sympathies to you and family.  He recalls such good times with Tom - both work and personal.  Our prayers are with you and family. Tom hired me at Allegheny in Pittsburgh back in 1964. He was a very warm man and a wonderful friend.

I had the privilege of having Tom as a brother-in-law all of these years and I will miss him so much.  There will be a void in our lives that we'll have to deal with, but staying close will help to get thru it.  I love you all so much and will always be here for you.  Love you all.

Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. In all the years I knew, worked, and played poker with Tom, I can say he was such a fine and gentle man. I always enjoyed his company in all those ways. I am sure he will me missed in many more ways to his family. My prayers are with you.

I know your family through your daughter, Lisa Hoppis.  A loving, kind, principled person who is a reflection of her parents. May your faith give you the strength and comfort that you need. We will keep your family in our prayers.

Tom was a fine man. I worked with him from 1975-1980.  He was a calming influence.  He always told me to relax and "we will fly out of the problem".  I never forgot that advice.

Tom and I worked together for a lot of years at Allegheny/USAir. He was a good man, and a good friend. Tom and others like him helped to build the airline.
 I am sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
