William H. Gibson Sr.

He was born December 28, 1929 in Winston-Salem, a son of Charles Herbert and Odessa Henderson Gibson. He married Frances Bodie on March of 1952.

William worked as a Chef until his retirement in 1993.

He loved his family and old movies.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Gibson of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Patricia (Tom, deceased) Beck and Carolyn Holden both of Winston-Salem; one son, Charles Andrew “Andy” Gibson of Nashville.

He is preceded in death by one son, William Herbert Gibson Jr. and one brother, Charles Gibson.

A burial of ashes graveside service will be at a later date in Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem.
