When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Plowman was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Lyons.
Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Billy Plowman and wife Shannon; and a grandson, Cody Plowman.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Barry Lemmons officiating at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 321 Redland Rd., Advance, NC 27006 (336-998-5083). The family will receive friends on Monday, March 21, 2011, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel.
