

Barry was a life-long Northeast Ohio resident. He was a former police officer and proud business owner.
Barry met many of his closest and dear friends while owning The St. Clair Cafe.
Besides his family, his greatest passion was Thoroughbred Horse Racing. Barry was an owner and trainer, and was the happiest while in the stables or trackside.
Beloved partner of Valerie Gawry; devoted father of Randy (Ann) Sevel, Adam (Lisa Kall) Sevel and Fred (Lisa) Gawry; cherished grandfather of Michael (Kristina) Sevel, Daniel (Annie) Sevel, Jonathan (Meghan) Ludwig, Morgan (Joe) Kraska, Maggi Sevel, Lindsay Markiewicz and Abby Gawry; loving great-grandfather of Cora, Camden, Grace, Brielle and Luna; dear brother of Richard (Marci) Sevel, Scott Sevel and the Late Linda (Harold) Wasserman; dearly loved uncle; preceded in death by his beloved parents Harold and Pearl Sevel.
Private graveside services for family only with burial in Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Mayfield Village, OH.
The family requests no visitation.
