BETTY KATZ, beloved wife of the late William Katz, passed away peacefully at home Sunday June 25. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Mary), Joanie (Augie Napoli) and Josh (Patty). Adored grandmother of Emily, Gabe and Logan. Dear sister of Bill Neides. Cherished aunt of Pam Neides, Herb Neides (Mary) and Cynthia (Bob Nealon); special “Aunt Betty” to many more. Beloved cousin of Adelle Kendis, sister-in-law of Sheldon Katz. Special thanks to caregivers Eva and Pshanette, and to Joanna. Betty volunteered for Bellfaire Jewish Children’s Bureau and Mt. Sinai Hospital for nearly 20 years and assisted in her husband’s business (Cleveland Typewriter and Computer) during the holiday season. She was the ‘hostess with the mostest,’ devoted to her family, generous with her love, and a loyal friend. Services will be held Tuesday, June 28, at 1 PM at the Mayfield Mausoleum in the Mayfield Cemetery, 2749 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Heights, 44106. Family will receive friends at the residence of Joan Katz Napoli and Augie Napoli, 2444 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, 44118, TUESDAY following services until 8PM, and on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
