Renee, Diane - Allow your sadness to be softened by memories, as I am doing.  I remember Bruce always smiling, and seeking smiles from others.  Our association was mostly only a childhood one, yet we were bonded by our shared birthday. He never would accept my being 5 hours older...  Thinking of you and yours during these difficult days. Dear Mrs. Aronoff and Diane - I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of being your next door neighbor growing up on Shelburne. I remember  sometimes hearing Mr. Aronoff "talking" very loudly to Bruce.  I also remember hearing Bruce practice his trumpet on warm evenings when the windows were open - our bedrooms were just across the driveway from each other. I still think of him when I hear a trumpet! I also bought my first stereo system from him. What a wonderful and very special person he was. Amy Miller Shore

Let's talk about football. Even better let's talk Browns football. Bruce was a great guy in the huddle and on the field when we played football. He appreciated all the right Browns "heroes" when we talked football.

The guy flat out knew where the end zone was and I can see  him there, having scored the Big Touchdown - hands in the air, smile on his face.

My sincere condolence for your loss. Bruce had such a contagious smile that will be missed by all, yet enjoyed at the side of our lord. There are no words to fill the void, but I hope you may find comfort in the love of family and friends. This I pray.

My most cherished memory of Bruce was the day President Kennedy was assassinated.  We were informed about the president in school by our teachers shortly before the buses were to take us home.  On the bus Bruce instructed the kids on Shelburne to come over directly to his house after school.  We did...and he led us down the street playing taps on his trumpet as we followed him in single file.  It was to be the first defining moment of my life.

Your Bruce was one of a kind.  He and I go back 50 years.  Thinking of Bruce lifts us up and leaves a smile.  That's quite an enduring legacy!

Dear Mrs. Aronoff - I was friends with Bruce at Fairmount Temple and through my years in the Shaker schools. I am so very sorry to hear this sad news and my thoughts are with you and all your family at this difficult time. Bruce was a lovely guy with a wonderful sense of humour and a smile for everyone. May your sweet memories of your loving son and the example he set for others be a blessing and help comfort you.

Dearest Renee and all of Bruce's loving family - Bruce and I have been friends since nursery school at Fairmount Temple.  I always thought he was a special friend!  Over the years we would run into each other and greet one another as if no time had passed at all.  Bruce's sense of humor was delightful

I was a high school classmate of Bruces' and remember him fondly!  He was a fun loving person and a great friend.  I cannot imagine your loss, and I hope you will be comforted in knowing how many peoples lives he has touched, whether it was back in high school, or just recently.
