

Carol (Miner) Gold passed away on 4/06/25.
Carol was born in Cleveland to Zellie and Celia Miner on March 13,1939. She was raised in Cleveland Heights together with her younger sister Ellen Miner (Leiken) and attended the Cleveland Heights schools where she was editor of the high school yearbook, the Cauldron.
Carol graduated from Western Reserve University. She was a beloved and respected Speech and Language Pathologist for Cleveland Public Schools for almost four decades. She loved her work and her students loved her. She was known as "Mrs. Gold with the gold jewelry." She loved her many friends, her family, her children and all children, animals, the arts, and of course her jewelry.
Carol is survived by her children Jennifer (Rochelle Klein) Gold and Dana Gold, her sister Ellen (Miner) Leiken and Earl Leiken, ex-husband Robert Gold, nephews Jonathan (Erika) Leiken and Brian (Shara Abraham) Leiken and nieces Ann Gold (Thomas Kahn) and Laura Gold and nephew Roger (Deborah Rukin) Gold.
Funeral Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio on Thursday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Bet Olam Cemetery. To view the funeral, scroll down to the Services Section and click on “JOIN LIVESTREAM”.
The family will receive visitors at the home of Jennifer Gold and Rochelle Klein, 29011 Jackson Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44022 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INTERMENT THURSDAY UNTIL 8;00PM and FRIDAY APRIL11 from 1:30 to 5:00PM.
