I am very saddened to know about Carol's passing. I also lived on Saybrook Road. I met Carol when I was about ten years old. A darling dark haired girl, very friendly. She was a good friend to Judy Zimmerman.

I am so sad to hear of Carol's sudden passing. Carol and I were such good friends during our years together in AEPhi at Ohio State. It was wonderful to reconnect with her when I began to see her again during my regular visits to Cleveland and to Menorah Park where I would visit my dad and always see Carol at lunch at Pearl's Place with her mom. Every time I saw her I was struck by the fact that she had not changed, still the same adorable Carol I had known at OSU, her joyfulness, her smile, her stories, her laughter, and added to that was her love and great pride in her family, Allan, her kids and her grandchildren. She is such a great loss. I send my most heartfelt condolences to you all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great person and was always fun to be around (I think she even let me call her "Carol" when we were in junior high). My thoughts will continue to be with you and your family.

Today was a very sad day in my life. A very dear friend of mine of a long time, Carol (Berk) Tolchinsky, was laid to rest. A part of me went with her. We were friends since elementary school, and even though we grew apart during our lives, she was always in my heart. Her whole family were a part of my life during our younger years. She grew up to be a beautiful, intelligent, sweet, warm, happy woman. She was my dance partner for many years, when we did promotional shows for Tony Ricardo Dance Studios, and I still think back often to those days. I am very saddened for her husband Allan, her children and grandchildren, and I know she will look down on all of us to make sure we are all behaving. We will miss her at our High School 50th. reunion next year, but in our spirit, she will be there. Rest in peace dear Carol, We love you.

So sorry for your loss. Carol lit up a room when she was in it. She was beloved by many and will not be soon forgotten. My condolences to your entire family.

I am so sad.  Such fond memories of our neighbor, Carol and her beautiful family from Stablehand Drive in Cincinnati.  Carol was a one of the happiest and friendliest people I have ever had the privilege of being with.  She lightened up a room when she stepped in and she will be sorely missed for a long time.

Friends since first grade..although life events took us on different roads, it has been wonderful to reconnect on Facebook & then in person a few short weeks ago........sympathies to all of Carol's friends & family
