Carole (nee Wallof) and loving father of David (Gael) Rosenblatt, Nancy (Stuart) Richner,
and Charles T.”Tom” (Deborah Gross) Rosenblatt
Proud grandfather of Zachary Richner, Jacob Rosenblatt, Lucas Richner, Hannah Rosenblatt (fiancé Stephen Skunta), Emily Gross-Rosenblatt, Kathryn Richner, and Noah Rosenblatt (Kaitlyn). Son of the late Eva Baum Rosenblatt and the late Charles S. Rosenblatt, Chuck was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. After serving in the Navy, Chuck attended Miami University, until the death of his father. He then returned to Cleveland to assist in the family business, Euclid Garment Manufacturing Company, established by his grandfather in 1870. In the span of running the business for more than 50 years, he took it from dungarees to high-tech clean-room clothing. Chuck was a passionate collector of antiques, children’s illustrated books, fine original prints, and friends of all ages. He was an active member and past president of the Print Club of Cleveland, a member of the Cleveland Museum of Art Director’s Circle, and the Rowfant Club. Chuck was a scout master with the Boy Scouts of America, loved gardening, bird watching, and crossword puzzles. Chuck loved most spending time with his wife, whether traveling or being with friends and family.
Those who wish may contribute to the Carole W. and Charles B. Rosenblatt Endowment Fund at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
