

David was born to the late Michael Hirsch and Ava Fiala Hirsch Sigman. He built a career as an IT specialist in search engine optimization, where his sharp mind and dedication made a lasting impact. Outside of his professional life, David was a passionate movie fan who loved music and attending concerts. He enjoyed discovering new restaurants and foods, reading, and was especially fond of cats, which brought him great joy and companionship.
David leaves behind his loving mother and stepfather, William “Bill” Sigman; his stepsisters, Melissa Sigman, Michelle Black (Eric), and Meghan Sigman; his uncles, Jerry and Donna Fiala, and Bobby and Lauri Sigman; his cousins, Michael and Katie Fiala, Robert and Larissa Fiala, Morgan and Anthony Caruso, Taylor and Michael Caruso, Alana Miller, and Justin Miller; and many great nieces and nephews and the love of his life, Merideth Romano. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma research at University Hospitals Cleveland or to the Kol Israel Foundation.
Shiva will be observed on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Woodhawk Condominiums, 200 Quail Roost Drive Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124 at the community room.
Professional services are entrusted to Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
