Dear Dave and Max,
Im so sorry that I just learned of your mom’s passing,   I had the honor of looking after you both when you were very cute and sweet little kids that your parents entrusted me to keep you safe and have fun.  It was my fault when we played catch and broke the family heirloom high up on the shelf.    I was blessed to have known your family and I’m sending my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear mom who loved and adored her children.

was friends with Debbie at Kent, played softball together on a co-ed team, we were the SOMF Machine. She was a special person. do not know why i just googled her today and saw the obit. my thoughts are with her now. 

I thought I would go on the Internet and look up some old friends and I was shocked to hear about Deb.

I met her at College Towers in Kent State where I also lived.  I couldn't believe how beautiful she was.   After I met her we  hung out just about everyday.   I drove her and her girlfriends to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break a couple times.   In the Summertime we both stayed at College Towers even though most students went home.  We met some of the players from the Cleveland Browns one summer and hung out with them because they would do their Spring Training at Kent State.  
   She was amazing and always full of life.

I graduated a year before Deb and moved to Va. Beach.
She mailed me her Graduation Picture the following year along with some pictures of  her last year of college.

 Over the years I look at those pictures  and remember the incredible times we had.

I tried over the years to  find her on the internet because I wanted to tell her how special she was to me. But I had no luck.

I was just thinking about her tonite for no exact reason so I thought I would do another internet search and then I found her profile.

I was totally  shocked when I saw her Obituary.

I feel so bad for her family.  

I know there is nothing I can do but if there is anything I can do  to help remember her memory, please let me know.

What a wonderful, full of energy and professional person. She was a wealth of knowledge and always so positive. We will all miss her and heartfelt condolences and prayers to her Family. She will always be in our hearts. 

I only met you a few times as an adult, but you always shared your memories of my father, and myself as a child. I moved to Florida in 1996 and still ran into someone who knew our last name was attached to you. My dad and grandparents always spoke well about you. You were a bit of a free spirit and a lot of kind soul that  made you as unique as you were! You will be missed and your spirit lives on through your memories. Oh and tell my Daddy I miss him and can't wait to see him! And the rest of the family to but please don't forget my dad and grandpa! 😓

Debra and I were best friends since age 13...I'm 61 so a 48 year friendship..she called me kevin b riley..middle school HS THEN Kent state together
.then after college say 1980 till present we remained in contact these 39 additional years..then in 2018 I asked her talents at Lorain Palace Theater..Lorain Ohio 

Debra was light 

energy...illumination 


and wonder

I cherished her presence and we had splendor in life's odyssey 

She's in eternal peace and now in Gods stead.

I worked with Deb for many years.  Each visit I made to the market, she became more of a friend.  She inspired me to be a better vendor, more importantly...she inspired me to become a better person.  There will, forever,  be a void when I visit Cleveland.  I will miss Deb dearly.  R.I.P. girl!  Flip

I knew Debra as a friend.  She was funny, classy, smart, a social butterfly whom all were attracted to when she entered a room.  She had both grace and spunk to match her beauty.  Debra, you will be missed by many and never forgotten by all whose lives you have touched.  Godspeed.

It's Hard to Say Goodbye old friend.  We were so young when our paths crossed and we became friends.  Even at that tender age you were certainly a force to be reckoned with.  Always looking for that next adventure and chomping at the bit to leave your mark on the world.  
When you entered a room, with your sparkling exotic eyes and mischievous smile everyone in that room knew you were there.
I know it was time for your next adventure dear Debra, but please know, there's a room in my heart where you will always live.

The Woodhawk 2 Board of Directors sends its sympathy to the friends and family of Debra.  She was a wonderful neighbor and valued member of our community and will be missed by all.  Her cheerfulness and wonderful smile always brightened everyone's day.

I have her in my contacts as Deb. No last name, that’s all I needed.   She is one of my sisters dearest friends and I am grateful to have known her.
We shared pool days and vacation days for many years and am so glad to have spent that time with her.   Deb was a one of a kind person to me, always laid back and carefree, even a bit wacky at times.
To have known her, was to love her.

What can I say about one of the coolest moms ever. I loved spending time with this family. Debra was one of the most stylish moms to me growing up and then I got help her shop when I worked at Nordstrom (which I thought she was way to cool for me). I was always so excited to see her and hang out with her. Loved the late night chats in the kitchen. Thank you for putting up with us Debra, my childhood would not have been the same without you in it. So much love for this family. 

I am sure I share with everyone who knew Debra how much we will miss her.  I had many weekend diners with Steve and Debra before I left Cleveland in 1998.  During the last 10 years living in California when I would visit Cleveland I always managed at least one end of the day visit with Debra at Sara’s Place in Gates Mills.  She had a smile that welcomed you and a warmth that comforted you. I am blessed to have known her.  My condolences to her family.  I know how much she adored her boys.

In life, it is often rare to find that one person who just gets you. Who you share everything with and there is no judgement. A person who is not a blood relative but takes you under your wing as their own and welcome you as family. This is just some of what Debra means to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her in my life. She was my big sister and always available for motherly advice. She is my biggest cheerleader. Supportive. Comforting. Loving. Real. Irreplaceable. I don’t know exactly how I will handle the world without her but I feel her spirit. I will take everything she taught me and continue on this journey of life.  Other than my own parents, she has known me the longest. 30+ years of sisterhood. I’m so grateful for every moment we spent together. I’m comforted we ended every conversation with I love you. Debra you are now my guardian angel. I love you to the moon. See you on the dark side of the moon. 

 
Memories is all that is left, but I will cherish them!
