Dennis Barton Braun

Dennis was a steady and grounding presence for colleagues, friends, and family alike. He often placed others’ needs before his own, offering boundless support without expectation of return. Despite his tireless commitment to those he loved, he walked tall and proud, with an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eyes. Dennis was, and always will be, a light in the lives of so many.

Dennis loved spending time with his family and feeding his brain and body through reading and exercise, working outdoors, photography, attending the symphony, and enjoying meals with his loved ones. He will be dearly missed by his children, Jamie (Chris) Wervey and Eric (Marley) Braun; and his grandchildren, Josh, Dawson, Gavin, and Blake Wervey, and Hazel and Hendrix Braun; and his significant others, Betty Roth and Joyce Braun. Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Jim, and his parents, Emery and Mollye Braun.

A memorial gathering will take place on April 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Acacia Park Apartments (2202 Acacia Park Drive, Building 2, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). Contributions can be made in memory of Dennis to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (www.michaeljfox.org).
