

Elaine Shirley Diamond (nee Spitz) passed away at the age of 93 on December 17, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Marvin Diamond for 48 years. She is survived by 4 daughters, Ellen Saks (William), “Cindy” Cynthia Feinberg (Jay), Vickie Smith (Marc), and Kathy Ulepic (Matt); adored grandchildren, Kenneth and Aaron Saks, Stuart Smith, Kevin Feinberg, and Rachel (Feinberg) Hermann , Max and Mason Ulepic; and 9 great-grandchildren, Talia and Mira Saks, Joshua, Gabriella, Julia, and Noah Saks, Owen and Nora Feinberg, and Dereck Hermann.
Elaine lived most of her life in Cleveland until moving to the Baltimore/Washington area 15 years ago to be closer to her daughters.
She enjoyed traveling around the U.S. with her children while they were growing up. She and her husband were part of a couple’s club for decades going back to High School days. Among her favorite hobbies were baking, bus trips and gardening with flowers and a vegetable patch every summer. She enjoyed playing Mah Jong for over 50 years.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Marvin Diamond, parents Frances and Eugene Spitz and grandson Jason Smith.
Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts., Sunday, December 21 at 12:00Noon. Interment Bet Olam Cemetery.
Family will receive friends immediately following interment at the Residence Inn by Marriott, 3628 Park East Dr., Beachwood, 44122 UNTIL 3:30PM.
