Elaine A. Wolfe

Elaine A. Wolfe passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on September 17, 1942, to Ben and Clara Allenick.

Elaine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, and she found great joy in shopping, playing mahjong, and traveling. Over the years, Elaine worked at the JCC and in various women’s clothing stores, where she formed many lasting friendships. She especially loved cooking for the holidays and was well known for her signature Jello molds.

Elaine is survived by her devoted husband, Joel Wolfe; her children, Andrew Wolfe (Leslie), Brian Wolfe, and Laurie Katz (Daniel); her brother, David Allenick; and her sister, Linda Mackey. She was the proud grandmother of Noah, Gabriel, and Micah Katz, and Jonah and Josh Wolfe.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Solon, OH.

Family will observe Shiva at 27500 Cedar Road, Beachwood, Ohio 44122 in the party room on Sunday, October 12 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday, October 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7p.m. to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
