Dr. Isolda Davidovna Levina PhD

Dr. Isolda Levina held her Masters degree in mathematics and math education from Chernovtcy State University. Upon arrival to USA, she learned English as a second language and confirmed her diploma of masters degree at Cleveland State University. She then went on to completed her doctorate degree in mathematics with dissertation for development of a new AP math course. She also taught as an adjunct faculty at John Carol University, Cleveland State University & Lorraine community College. She accepted a role of full professor of mathematics at Cuyahoga Community College and taught there for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Sofia Levin,

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Vladimir Sipershteyn, her brother Daniel (Irina) Levin, her daughter Deanna (Joseph) Albershtat, her granddaughters Lila & Davida Albershtat, her nephew Ruslan (Masha) Levin, great niece Kira Sofia Levina.

A chapel service for Dr. Isolda will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118.

Dr. Isolda will be laid to rest in Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, Ohio 44122-4223.
