Jonathan Louis Binstock

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jonathan Binstock, age 35, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away suddenly in his sleep on August 25, 2020.

Anyone who knew Jon knows what an enormous loss this truly is, as his huge heart was his hallmark.

Jon will be missed everyday by his mother and father, Judy Lipton and Allen Binstock, his sister, Laura, his niece, Helina, his girlfriend, Alliey Laird, her son, Leo, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and tremendous number of friends.

Jon was completely devoted to his family and friends. "Everyone should have a friend like Jon." He loved Cleveland and Cleveland sports. Jon played soccer with fervor until a chronic knee injury took him out of the game. This allowed him to tap into his deeply creative side, excelling in the worlds of art and culinary skills. Jon graduated from All State Hairstyling and Barber college, achieving the highest score on his State licensing exam, and was on his way to a promising career as a barber.

Music was an integral part of Jon's life, being especially interested in rock, rap, and reggae, with Bob Marley being a big influence. Jon himself would tell you, "Don't worry about a thing, cos every little thing is gonna be alright."

The family will have a private ceremony graveside. We look forward to finding a time to celebrate Jonathan's life in person when it is safe to assemble again.
