I have often thought of Dr. Hellerstein~ I was a Foster Mother for CCDCFS for 27 yrs. & took MANY of my foster babies to her for shots etc. @Metzenbaum. She was ALWAYS  so verrry gentle, kind, loving  and concerned about each 1 of my babies! She held them on her lap,  speaking  softly to them & always had a sweet smile for each child! I have a tremendous amt. of respect for her, appreciating the love & respect SHE displayed  for the many  foster  children she took such wonderful care of; and  I will miss this truly special lady. "THANK YOU, DR.Hellerstein, for all you were and for all you did!"

What a life so well lived and full of service. I remeber Dr. Hellerstein from my days at Children Services, as a social worker . My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Kudos to a productive life well spent! So pleasant and unassuming but so effective in all her many endeavors.  Heartfelt regards to all her family.
