Maxine Berman

Maxine Berman, 84, passed away May 19, 2025. She was a beloved wife to the late Warren Berman, devoted mother to Mindy (Ruslan) Slutsky, and Steven (Darci) Klein. Adored grandmother to Jordan and Jacob Slutsky, and Nate (Morgan), Zoey, Jaret, and Sadie Klein. She is survived by her brother, Jeffrey (Tamara) Kurtz.

Maxine was a decades long fan of General Hospital and was determined to be home every day by 3pm or to record the show and then watch it that evening. She also was the family historian and left over 50 photo albums for her family to enjoy and pass on to other generations.

She was a successful Avon Cosmetics leader for 30 years, helping women empower themselves and look great in their efforts. She cared about everyone she met.

Graveside services will be held on May 22 at 11am. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, OH.

Shiva will be observed after interment at the home of Robyn and Dave Gelwasser – 33635 Wellingford Ct. in Solon from 1-4pm and 6-8pm.
