
PINCUS Michael Allen Pincus passed away on February 8th, one month before his 68th birthday. Michael always cherished his beloved son Matthew (Andrea), who was with him at the end. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by his loving parents, Benjamin and Mona (both deceased), Michael lived in Cleveland since 1977. Michael was the former husband of Elda (nee Gettenberg), brother of Arlene (Alan) Lesser, Lawrence (Marsha) Pincus, and Samuel (Linda) Pincus. He was a practicing attorney until pursuing his passion of opening a comic book store, and then discovering his purpose, helping people both as an active participant in AA and as a peer support specialist. He attended The American University of Jerusalem and law school at Case Western Reserve University after serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an avid reader, collector and Yankees fan throughout his life. Services will be held in New York. Friends wishing to share memories and express condolences are welcome to join the family in sitting shiva on Saturday, February 11th from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 2375 S. Green Rd., in Beachwood, OH.
